St. Thomas Autonomous Colleges' Botany Department has been fully formed over many years

  • The Department of Botany first batch started in 1951
  • The pre-University course was begun in 1956
  • 3-year degree course started in 1958
At the starting of the department of botany has only one course. The first batch of botany in Natural Science. After we started a 3-year degree course. The department of Botany of St. Thomas Autonomous College offers 3 programmes for botany that is BSc, MSc and Ph.D. Programmes

A branch of biology formed to study about animal species.
