The Malayalam department has been functioning from the very beginning of the College. Majority of the students are interested to take Malayalam as their main and second language.  Eminent professors like Prof. Joseph Mundassery was the legends in this college.

The department has conducted many cultural events as part of their academics activity. The college had developed many peoples who are very passionate about literature and creativity. They became the top legends in the Malayalam writing field.
