The mathematics degree course is started under madras university during 1926. Later it is converted to B.Sc Mathematics under the university of Kerala. After that M.sc course is started in 1964. Now offers four variant courses in Mathematics including PhD. 

The mathematics department is one of the oldest department in the college. And now become one of the most reputed department. Eminent faculties with a superior qualification are the attracting feature of this department. 

Department of mathematics become one of the strong pillars of the college. Bright and talented students will be an asset.

Courses offered in the Mathematics Department


B.Sc in Mathematics Sub statistics and Physics and B.Sc in Mathematics Sub statistics and Computer Application is the two Bachelor courses offered. And M.Sc. Mathematics and PhD in mathematics are other higher studies program.
