The establishment of 400-meter ground (Thope Stadium) is one of the first of it's kind in Kerala during 19930's. A pavilion and a spectators gallery are built during the 1950s with the help of UGC. Political Science is the branch that deals with the state and system of the government or the scientific analysis of the political behaviour of the state. It includes an understanding of political ideas, powers, ideologies, policies, etc. The political science department has a strict political attitude always in the college premises.
